I often wondered why children move away from parents.
I think I got the answer.

Its when you can't afford to hurt them and yet you can't bear to hurt yourself either.
Its when the path to happiness that they envision for you, clashes with the path that you're sometimes destined to follow.
Its when the path that you tread is not what they expected you to follow.
Its when the world has changed in ways that they did not predict and has even taken its toll on you, but to them you still remain the untarnished grain of rice still safe inside its pod. Its when they don't realize that the exposed piece of grain -- if it doesn't follow its own course, would probably wither and die.
Its when you just have to take decisions which they can never approve of.
Its when you have to take risks cause its your life and you just realize that it is indeed yours and not someone else's. Its when you just need to take charge, when falling back is not an option any more, rather a shameful acceptance of defeat. If this path fails, you know you would change course, find another way out but you would never, never ever go back and accept defeat.
It is then that you truly have drifted apart from your parents. Its sad perhaps, but its still an inevitable reality of life.

Love and Patience

Patience is a nice thing indeed. :) Its a virtue one should feel proud of possessing. Infact love somehow equals to patience, patience to accept someone the way he/she is without asking him/her to change, accepting his/her pace, giving someone the comfort one needs. If a relationship is supposed to last then each partner should be able to enjoy the comfort and luxury of the other person's company without having to give up the comfort of being oneself.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given to you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions” --  Rainer Maria Rilke

Temple

I believe in the power of positive energy. The temple itself with its idols and flowers has nothing good about it. But when people of all kinds go there to ponder upon some good thoughts, the atmosphere turns pure with all the positive thoughts and makes the place so holy. And thats my reason for going to a temple. Not the idols nor the singing of hymns nor the flowers or the chants of the priests. But together they make it a place of high positive energy, which affects me. When I see so many ppl all praying for something good, some sincere appeal straight from their heart I feel like there is nothing purer than that, nothing more transparent and that's exactly what true happiness is all about, complete transparency of thoughts, deeds and desire. When there is no hideousness in our thoughts that need to be hidden..that is when we are truly at peace. Peace eventually brings happiness.
